How does the VENTIGEL V5 antifreeze tower work?

The V5 anti-freeze tower is a system designed to protect orchards from radiant frost. The system works on two complementary principles:

✔ High-performance air circulation

With a flow rate of 60,000 m³/h, the primary objective of VENTIGEL™ is to ventilate early enough with a powerful jet of pulsed air, thus drying out plots and preventing the formation of condensation on plants. It also enables the redistribution of rising warm air during a frost by radiation.

✔ Integrated thermal input

The two 110 kW on-board heaters enhance the system’s efficiency by supplying heat to the protected area when temperatures continue to fall, thus optimizing protection.
